Hashbrown Casserole

10oz bag like this works perfect

done and plated

one pk of hash browns
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup better, melted
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3 cup shredded Colby jack cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine soup, onion, butter, sour cream, milk and salt, pepper and 2 cups of cheese, mix, stirring potatoes. Bake for 1 hour.
